“Three-dimensional volume images were reconstructed using a filtered back-projection algorithm and displayed on a computer workstation by volume rendering for display and analysis of renal MV, using Analyze software…, and the spatial density of microvessels (diameters of 1–500 μm) were calculated as previously described [Chade et al. 2004, Iliescu et al. 2010].”
