How Analyze was Used
“Image analysis was done with ANALYZE software package (AnalyzeDirect, KS), the ROI tools were used to select the areas of interest (septum and left ventricular free wall) and signal intensity values were recorded. Left-ventricular functional data was also analyzed, this gave us left-ventricular end-diastolic volume (EDV), end-systolic volume (ESV), stroke volume (SV), cardiac output (CO), and LV mass.”
