How Analyze was Used
“Individual blockface slices were aligned to reconstruct the 3D volume using the block outlines to account for jitter in the position of the cryostat head. The brain volume was then automatically segmented using seed based region growing algorithm in the Analyze software package (AnalyzeDirect, Lenexa, KS).”
