“All of the original chest radiographic images were saved in DICOM (digital imaging and communication in medicine) format, burned into CDs, and then transferred to a separate workstation for measurements of image noise using a commercially available software Analyze v 7.0 (AnalyzeDirect, Inc., Lenexa, KS, USA).”
