“Based on T2-weighted or FLAIR MRI, WMH was visually assessed (modified Fazekas grading) [Fazekas et al. 1987], and semiautomatic volume measurement was performed by an independent investigator masked to clinical data. Semoautomatic volume measurement was done by ANALYZE 10.0 [Smith et al. 2000].”
