How Analyze was Used
“A total of 1,084 cross sectional nano-CT images was analyzed. Measurements were performed using the ANALYZE Software packages (ANALYZE 9.0/10.0…). Atherosclerotic plaque can be detected by virtue of the intraluminal encroachment by the plaque as well as the different X-ray attenuation properties (i.e. CT gray scale) that differentiate the plaque from the intraluminal contrast agent and the normal surrounding tissues of the arterial wall.”
