“The ICV [intracranial volume], which includes brain tissue, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), veins and dura, was obtained semi-automatically using the T2*W sequence, with the Object Extraction Tool in Analyze 9.0… providing an initial segmentation that was manually edited to remove erroneous structures.”
