“Hemorrhagic transformation was evaluated on follow-up imaging using the European Cooperative Acute Stroke Study II criteria.18 The final infarct volume was measured in a semiautomated manner using Analyze 12.0 (AnalyzeDirect Inc). The volume of reperfused penumbra was calculated as the difference between the follow-up infarct core volume and the baseline penumbra lesion volume, as previously suggested.”
