How Analyze was Used
“For thigh muscle, SAT, and IMAT, eight serial 10 mm images were acquired just above the patella. Analyze Direct software (version 10.0; Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN) was used to analyze baseline and 6-month images. IMAT and SAT were distinguished by drawing a line along the muscle fascia (epimysium). All thigh muscle and adipose tissue volumes were reported as the total of the right and left thighs.”
