How Analyze was Used
“Calculation of lesion volume was carried out with the program Analyze 10.0 (AnalyzeDirect, Inc., Overland Park, USA). The hyperintense ischemic areas in axial T2-weighted images were assigned with a region of interest tool. This enables threshold-based segmentation by connecting all pixels within a specified threshold range about the selected seed pixel and results in a 3D object map of the whole stroke region from which the total volume was calculated.”
