How Analyze was Used
“A program was developed to assess cell density in confocal images by using a scripted language, Tcl/tk (“tool command language/toolkit,” …) and an image processing program, Analy[z]e AVW… The program worked in two steps; first, it identified bright objects in the field, and second, it selected those objects that most likely corresponded to cells based on the image properties of each object.”
