“The images were transferred to a computer and analyzed with Analyze 5.0 software … to determine (1) total brain volume, (2) volume of both caudate nuclei, (3) volume of both putamens, (4) volume of the hippoccampal formation (left and right hemispheres), and (5) cross-sectional area of the corpus callosum in the midsagittal plane.”
