“At each time interval, cartilage was manually segmented (Analyze 8.1 …) as a single unit between the subchondral bone of the femur and the subchondral bone of the acetabulum in the anterosuperior quadrant (weight-bearing region) (Afoke et al., 1987) in the center slice.”
