How Analyze was Used
“Analyze Version 10.0 (AnalyzeDirect, Inc, Overland Park, KS) and a custom graph-cut software tool [Liu et al. 2013, 2008] were used to segment bones from each other at their articulating surfaces. The end result of segmentation is a series of bone object maps, [Liu et al. 2013, 2008] as shown in FIGURE 2, which are then used to assess bone geometric strength indices or bone-to-bone orientation angles.”
