How Analyze was Used
“Each femur was rotated 360◦ to obtain the data, which were imported into the Analyze software (version 12.0; AnalyzeDirect, Overland Park, KS, USA) to reconstruct 3D images of the femurs for analysis. From 0.2 mm below the growth plate, a 1-mm thick area was selected as the region of interest for bone parameter calculation, which mainly included BMD, trabecular thickness (Tb.Th), trabecular separation (Tb.Sp), trabecular number (Tb.N), bone volume (BV), bone surface area (BS), and bone volume fraction (BV/TV).”
